There is no doubt that this is a great professional learning session which allows teachers to reflect on their practice and student learning. This is similar to the Japanese Lesson Study that I have used with teachers.

I trust that this not promoted as the one and only way to teach because there is a lot more to pedagogy than this! Problem solving, differentiation etc

What about the students who already know this content and sitting there going through the motions, bored. And the other end: those students who need extra scaffolding to understand the concept and the learning!

Unfortunately, It was difficult to see the whiteboard in the video due to the reflection and shine.

My question would be:

Where is this pedagogical approach situated in the art of teaching?
